Returnees Reintegration Project Management Office (RRPMO), under the mandate of Agency for Refugees and Returnees Affairs (ARRA), is staging two separate Training of Trainers (ToT) Workshop in Dire Dawa city.

The first training is on Short-Term Vocational Manuals whereas the other one is on Entrepreneurship and Business Planning Manuals. Apart from introducing the manuals, the workshop has been organized to familiarize trainees with various Teachers Training and Learning Materials (TTLM).

Opening the session, Project Office Manager Zewdu Bedada briefed the attendees that ARRA is committed to build the capacity of government and of relevant actors working in the migration loop.

Representatives from Federal Urban Job Creation and Food Security and Federal Technical and Vocational Education and Training Agencies praised ARRA for having been on the right path in capacitating actors in the field.  

A total of 90 attendees from (FTVETA), Federal Urban Job Creation and Food Security Agency (FUJCFSA), Dire Dawa City Administration Somali and Harari regions UJCFS and TVET bureau are taking part in the training.

Twelve training manuals, revised and developed by FUJCFSA and FTVETA in partnership with RRPMO through the financial support of the European Union (EU) to facilitate job creation and skills training for Ethiopian returnees, are the core manuals of the training.
